GSQ Charity Work

For every solar system installed through us, we fund 50 life-saving mosquito nets through our partner charity Against Malaria Foundation.

That is your direct impact.

Those 50 nets protect up to 100 people.

For up to four years.

Every year, over 625,000 people die from Malaria. Most are young children.

One mosquito bite. That is all it takes.

A mother watches her children burn with fever. And she cannot stop it.

Why We Chose Mosquito Nets

Thinking about a child burning with fever is heavy. It’s uncomfortable.

Most of us would rather not picture it. But that discomfort matters.

Because the problem is real. And the solution is simple.

We chose mosquito nets because they save lives more effectively than almost anything else on earth for cost.

Per dollar spent, few interventions reduce human suffering more than preventing malaria with treated nets.

It isn’t glamorous. It doesn’t photograph like a new building or a ribbon cutting.

It’s a thin mesh over a bed.

But that thin mesh stops the bite. No bite stops the fever.

No fever stops the death.

That is impact.

Close your eyes for a moment.

Imagine you are six years old.

You wake up hot. Your head hurts. Your body aches.

By the afternoon, the fever climbs. You feel dizzy. The room spins.

By night, you are shaking. You cannot think clearly.

Your mother is holding you. Your father is scared.

The fever gets worse. And worse. And worse.

Now imagine there is no doctor nearby.

No antibiotics. No hospital down the street.

The fever does not break.

Now stop. Picture a different ending.

The same child. The same home. The same night.

But above the bed hangs one simple mosquito net.

And so the bite never happens.

The vast majority of malaria-carrying mosquitoes are found at night. 85% of infections happen between 7pm and 6am.

No fever. No shaking. No slow loss of life.

That child wakes up the next day.

They run outside.

They play.

They laugh.

They go to school.

They learn to read.

They kick a ball with friends.

They listen to beautiful music.

They grow taller each year.

They become a teenager.

They fall in love.

They choose a path.

They build something.

They serve their community.

They raise a family.

They grow old. They grow wise.

They get to live.

All because of one net.

A thin mesh barrier between a child and a disease that kills.

You are not just lowering your electric bill.

You are helping 100 people wake up tomorrow.

You are helping children reach five years old; the age where their immune systems grow strong enough to fight back.

You are helping complex, wondrous and beautiful lives, emerge and exist, that otherwise never would have.

Thankyou.
